Terms of Service for tracedowney.com (GitHub Pages Deployment)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using this website (tracedowney.com, including the dedicated page at tracedowney.com/tos), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("TOS"). If you do not agree, you may not create an account or use the services.

2. Arbitration Agreement

Any disputes arising from your use of this website or these TOS shall be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court. You waive the right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The laws of the State of Texas shall govern.

3. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these TOS at any time. Updates will be posted on this website, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically. Continued use of the website after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

4. User Accounts

To create an account, you must agree to these TOS during the sign-up process. If you decline, your account cannot be created.

We log the following when you view and respond to the TOS:

  • Email address used to sign up (TOS@tracedowney.com for logging correspondence)
  • Date and time of acceptance
  • Whether you accepted or declined

If you decline, account creation will not proceed.

5. Permitted Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these TOS. Misuse, attempts to exploit, or unauthorized access may result in termination of your account.

6. Governing Law

These TOS are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Texas.

Note about logging on GitHub Pages: This site is statically hosted. Acceptance logging and access gating require a backend or external service. This page stores your acceptance locally in your browser and optionally POSTs to a configurable endpoint if you set one.
